Dear Chantilly High School Community, As you are probably aware, Principal Teresa L. Johnson will be leaving CHS to take the FCPS position of Assistant Superintendent for Special Services. This move will be effective July 1, 2017. The search for Principal Johnson’s replacement is being led by Region 5 Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Frances Ivey. She has recently asked for written comments from the community regarding what they would like to see in the new principal, as well as any issues that the administration should be aware of. I encourage you to share your input via this channel. Additionally, Dr. Ivey is forming a Principal Selection Panel and is looking for volunteers from the community to participate. The primary responsibility of Panel members will be to attend a full day (07:30 hrs – 16:00 hrs) meeting on July 24th at the Gatehouse Administrative Center in Falls Church. While the meeting may not last the full day, all volunteers must be willing, and able, to commit to attending this meeting. To this end we are requesting that all interested CHS community members let me know of their willingness to sit on the panel, and at the same time follow this link to filled-in information form. The deadline for responses is Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

The first round of Senior Portrait Appointments from Prestige Portraits have been mailed to the homes of rising seniors. The appointments are at school June 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 from 3:30 – 8 pm in the school cafeteria. The portrait is for the yearbook and your ID card.
