Your Christmas Tree Headquarters! Our newly established tree farm in Northeast Ohio planted its first seedlings in 2007. The tree farm will have pick-and-cut your own trees available in two or three years. Currently, we offer pre-cut Fraser Firs, ranging in size from 3-10 feet, with baling services available upon request, as well as, firewood in bundles, ricks, and cords.
Howling Pines Tree Farm is located in Chagrin Falls, where friends and family help throughout the season at this family owned and operated business.
Colorado Blue Spruce
Blue Spruce come in a variety of colors from a light powdery blue to a rich dark blue-green. Its 1" long, round sharp needles are attached singly to heavy branches in bottle brush fashion. This tree can hold heavy ornaments and can be layered in appearance to allow spaces for large decorations. Blue Spruce have a nice aroma. Cut-your-own trees will be available in about three years.
Norway Spruce
In Ohio, this tree is considered a naturally occurring tree. The shiny dark-green needles of this spruce are what makes it the traditional Christmas tree. The densely branched tree has a traditional fragrance and sturdy branches for ornaments. Cut-your-own trees will be available in about three years.
Canaan Fir
The blue-green, flatish needles are a silvery color on the underside of the branches. Its fragrance is sweet and spicy like balsam and Fraser fir. Its soft lacing branches are sturdy enough to support ornaments of many sizes. Cut-your-own trees will be available in about three years.
White Pine (Eastern)
This fluffy Christmas tree with its bright green color and excellent needle retention make it a popular tree. The needles are long, soft, and grow in clusters of five. If sheared closely, and long ornament hooks are used this fragrant soft tree is friendly to young fingers, and provides full look. Available in three years.
The family favorite - Pre-Cut Fraser Fir
Mid-sized coniferous tree, which has excellent needle retention. The needles are shiny dark blue-green, flat in appearance attached singly to its branches. This fragrant tree is considered the "Cadillac" of cut Christmas trees. The tree farm will have pick-and-cut your own trees in two-three years.
