Cedar Falls Public Library
Description
Public Library of the City of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Formerly known as the Carnegie-Dayton Free Library. The CFPL is home to a vast collection of books and audio-visual materials. To serve our community, we also have many netbooks and desktop computers available for public use, as well as free wi-fi. We also have photocopiers and a fax machine (contact staff for info on fees) and a knowledgeable reference staff. For local non-profit events and organizations, we have conference and meeting rooms available for reservation. Visit us for story times, puppet shows, book discussion groups, computer classes and other events listed on our newsletter.

Volunteers wanted! Our second annual LitCon is coming up November 11, and we are looking for motivated folks to help us with a variety of tasks during the event as well as setting up and tearing down. Interested parties should contact our Volunteer Coordinators at cfplvolunteers@gmail.com.

Hello Cedar Valley! We are looking to recruit a few experienced Dungeons & Dragons players to lead campaigns during LitCon on November 11! We are COLORING today from 2:00-4:00 in the Meeting Room! All are welcome and we provide everything you need :-) We've had a few questions about donations: YES! We will take donations of coloring books (even if you've already used a few pages) for adults and children, as well as gently used coloring utensils. Thanks for coloring with us!
Looking to get out of the heat today with your children? The doors to the library meeting room are now open for our fall Legopalooza, so come and join us for a Lego-building session until 5:30 p.m. Each child will leave with a small gift. For families with infants through sixth graders. We have Duplos for your littlest ones to build with.
