Members are free, ASTC Members FREE The Science Zone utilizes innovative exhibits, programs, and outreach to promote informal science education throughout the State of Wyoming.
We accomplish the above through: Permanent, Rotating and Traveling Exhibits, Summer Science Camps, After-School Science Classes, Wee Science Preschool Programs, Outreach Programs, Special Events, Birthday Parties, Lego Robotics and live demonstrations.

Ever find yourself mesmerized by a lava lamp? This week during drop-in Discovery Hour, we'll be exploring density of different liquids and using what we learn to make a take-home lava lamp. Toddlers and preschool aged children will love getting their hands-messy and diving into the beautiful world of pigment and color. We'll use chemical reactions to help make colors that fizzle and pop and find out what happens as colors blend together. Discovery Hour activities occur between 10 AM-12PM every Thursday and are always free with regular admission. You can be the beauty and the brain! Come learn about the huge roll science plays in creating skin care and beauty products. We will create our own skin care products and a color changing surprise! Snacks will be provided, but please bring a lunch! 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Ages 8-14 $35 per child for members / $60 per child for non-members
