Butler's oldest downtown business. Est. 1905. Cummings Candy & Coffee is a beloved Butler, PA tradition — the oldest family-run business in the city.
We offer a full service coffee bar featuring fair trade organic coffees, fresh fruit smoothies, old time chocolate malts, root beer floats, ice cream and fresh baked scones, muffins and muffin tops.
We also hand-dip chocolates with store-roasted nuts and fruits. During the cooler months, we make peanut brittle right in the shop — the smell is intoxicating!
Enjoy your coffee in one of our booths, or take a bag of whole bean home or to the office. We are happy to grind your coffee to order.
Our main location is an Armstrong Zoom wireless hotspot. Bring your wi-fi enabled laptop to work and surf the Web, or use our in-store computer.

We will be chocolate covering a variety of berries for Mother's Day weekend! Stop in and hook a mom up! A bag of Main St Roast and a box of chocolates will get you a big old squeeze from maternal figures in your life!
Our friends at Mazzanti's Beans and Cream will be serving our signature Main St. Roast at their store starting this weekend! So, in addition to their fabulous ice cream, you can get a freshly roasted cup of joe.

And don't forget that tomorrow night Mr. Bill May is giving a talk starting at 7:30pm on the infamous assassin, John Wilkes Booth, and the Butler woman who aided in his initial escape after the death of President Lincoln. Stop by both nights to decompress and relax before the holiday this weekend!

Milk chocolate dipped strawberries will ready by noon on Friday and dark chocolate ones by Saturday lunchtime! Milk and dark chocolate cherry cordials in a vintage heart shaped box all weekend!

As a chocolate shop and coffee bar, we should have a signature coffee drink incorporating both of our passions. And now we do!! Introducing the Spartan Cortado! Equal amounts espresso and warm milk with the slightest hint of our house made chocolate syrup and a light dusting of sugar in the raw on top for a textured crunch. A beautiful 6 ounce drink that will both soothe and invigorate. In the words of Leonidas, "Come take it!"
