The following press release is from Eastern Maine Development Corporation in regard to the Whole Ocean's project and the EPA area wide planning grant that is in process in Bucksport. We appreciate the support of all who are working hard to help in this redevelopment effort!

Finance & Ordinance Committee meetings scheduled for Thursday, March 15th have been postponed until Thursday, April 12th. The Ordinance Committee will meet at 6 p.m. and the Finance Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. The Town Council meeting will still be held as scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15th.

The Bucksport Town Office will open at noon on Wednesday, March 14th.

The Town Office is closing at 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 13th) due to the storm. Please check back for office hours for Wednesday, March 14th since opening may be delayed. Be safe in the bad weather!

The Bucksport Town Office and Transfer Station will be closed today, Thursday, March 8th, due to the storm. Both will re-open at the regular time on Friday, March 9th. The Town Council and committee meetings scheduled for this evening will be held on Thursday, March 15th.

Progress... the automatic door openers are being installed on the front doors at the Town Office today. One more step in helping to make Bucksport an age and ability friendly community!
