I have been joking with my guests this summer that we pay a hummingbird to show up outside the window at breakfast time every morning. Today, Frank Fabian proved me an honest man.

What better way to spend some time together with high school friends than at the Frederick Inn talking on the wrap around porch. That is exactly what these wonderful guests did a few weekends ago. Every year for the last several years, this group of highschool girlfriends gets together at a central location and enjoys each other's company for the weekend. Here they are enjoying the wrap around porch at the Inn.

Find Your Park
I have always thought that the National Park Service (NPS) does a great job. It is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2016. They have initiated the "Find Your Park" centennial campaign, which is designed to introduce the national park system to more Americans. NPS is inviting each one of us to discover our own personal connection to parks. So much more than vast scenic landscapes, there are urban parks, cultural treasures, and historical places – all within the National Park System.
