In 1974, three activist women and their local supporters joined to create our Center. Today, we are still working to empower residents of the Northwest Bronx to forge better lives for themselves and their families.

Monroe College Tech Challenge - Our team from Ellis Program participated in the Website Design challenge. They each walked out with a VILROS Raspberry Pi 3 kit (worth $65) along with a Raspberry Pi 3 (worth $35) and $50 towards either Google Play or Apple store. They did awesomely.

Flea Market Vendors Wanted! Are you a Food Vendor, Crafts Vendor, Toy Vendor, items you want to part with,......then please become a Vendor at our Flea Market which supports the Programs at the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center. Our Flea Market operates every Saturday through the Fall. You can sign up for individual weeks or group of weeks. The Flea Market is located at 295 W. 231st Street in the Bronx.
