Barqs heir back on speaking terms with son after lawsuit settled

Monsanto weed killer caused cancer, Californians allege in new lawsuit
"Last week, a federal judge in San Francisco unsealed documents that suggest that Monsanto employees had ghostwritten studies later attributed to academics that U.S. regulators used to determine glyphosate is not a cause of cancer. The documents also indicated that a former senior employee at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency worked with the company to suppress reviews of the ingredient."
Merck must face renewed Fosamax warning claims: U.S. appeals court
"Fosamax, whose chemical name is alendronate sodium, has been prescribed to treat or prevent bone loss in post-menopausal women since 1995. But the plaintiffs claimed to suffer atypical femur fractures from long-term use, and said Merck knew about the risk for more than a decade before adding it to the Fosamax warning label in January 2011."
Traffic fatalities spike during spring break
