Vertical Endeavors - Bloomington offers indoor rock climbing to climbers of all ages and abilities! Rock climbing is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States and Vertical Endeavors is one of the recognized leaders in the industry. Founded in 1992, Vertical Endeavors operates some of the largest facilities in the nation with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. Participants of all ages and abilities can climb throughout the year in a climate-controlled environment. Routes are available for all skill levels and offer a great workout, both physically and mentally. Rock climbing has been proven to increase an individual’s strength, balance, flexibility and coordination.
Vertical Endeavors – Bloomington offers numerous top rope climbs, Auto Belays, three bouldering areas, hand-carved cracks and sport lead climbing. In addition, we offer indoor and outdoor lessons, youth programs, group events, birthday parties and much more. A complete pro shop offering a large selection of climbing gear adds to the convenience of this one stop shop.
The location consists of approximately 20,000 square feet of floor surface and 32,000–35,000 square feet of combined climbing surface. It features walls of three heights for top rope and sport lead climbing. Reaching up to 63 feet in height, it is the tallest Vertical Endeavors location to date. VE Bloomington includes two bouldering areas, event rooms, a fitness area and a complete Pro Shop. Our facility also features Nicros’ A.R.T.Wall™, one of the most realistic artificial rock surfaces you’ll ever climb on. The natural texture will make you feel like you are climbing outside!

The Grand Opening of Vertical Endeavors–Twin Cities Bouldering is this Saturday! We hope to see you all there. If you have the chance, stop by this week during our soft opening for 1/2 day passes and experience the facility.
Competition season continues this Saturday with No Holds Barred at VE–Glendale Heights. We are still looking for a number volunteers to help us at No Holds Barred on March 10th and Jug-Or-Not on March 24th. All volunteers will receive a competition T-Shirt, discount coupon for the VE pro-shop, and a FREE day pass. Recieve two additional FREE day passes for each additional shift worked.
We are one week away from the official opening of Vertical Endeavors Twin Cities Bouldering and just under two weeks away from the Grand Opening party on March 17th. We can't wait for you all to come climb.
