RESPOND is the theme for this year's Commission to Mexico, Work & Witness Adventure, December 27th - January 2nd. 173 participants will travel across the border to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our brothers and sisters in Monterrey, Mexico. A new era will now begin for the men’s soccer program at Southern Nazarene University as it announced the hiring of Trevor Harmon as the new head coach, effective January 1, 2018. Harmon becomes the sixth coach in school history, as the program will enter its 41st season next fall. The Allen, Texas, native spent last season coaching the women’s soccer program at Redlands Community College. One of our English graduates, Courtney Locke Marquez, was named Executive Director, Community Relations, for Mercy Health Oklahoma in October. She has had a long and rich career at Mercy in a variety of positions that rely on the strong set of skills she acquired as an English major at SNU. She was told her latest promotion to Executive Director of the entire state network for Mercy had everything to do with the fact that "she can write." #snu #southernnazarene #mercyhospitalokc

The Milken Family Foundation presented Debreon Davis, a Southern Nazarene University alum, with a Milken Educator Award and $25,000 to spend however she wishes.
