Looking to go deeper and build some great relationships? We have two groups that meet each week, here at Berkley First! Tonight's group will be discussing Sunday’s sermon topic. Each week is a stand alone discussion so you can plug in at anytime.
This Thursday at 8pm, join us at Patrick J's Irish Pub in Berkley for great food, great beer, and best of all, great conversation. Every week, there are at least 8-10 people, even if many of them don't officially RSVP. Here are some questions we'll use to get the ball rolling. • Do you think prayer is “powerful” – why or why not? • If prayer is powerful, what does it have the power to change? How? • Break down and discuss this quote: “Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.” – Gandhi • Do you pray regularly? If not, why not? If so, what for? • Have you found any particular methods of prayer to be useful / helpful? • What do you think of this quote: “God does nothing except in response to believing prayer.” – John Wesley Hope to see you there!
Come discover the hidden treasures God has in store for you this morning at 10:00.
We'll be streaming our worship live today at 10am. Join us!
