The N.C State Fair started today. I asked you ,if you are one of the many thousand that will walk those grounds please stop by and eat with Big Al's BBQ. So today was a little stressful. Had our first inspection by the F.D.A. in our new BBQ Sauce facility. After a little over four hours the inspection was complete. FDA stated they were very impressed with the entire process, they were very pleased with how clean the facility was and the process from start to finish. They were also impressed with our efforts to keep the temp of the sauce above 180 but not to exceed 200 degrees from the first bottle to the last bottle filled.The FDA could not find anything wrong with the facility nor any part of the manufacture process of our sauce. Vernon Mclamb's Bar-B-Q Sauce has a tradition of high standards from its start in 1964 till today and forever. We sincerely thank you for your business and all the kind words.
