THE BACK 40 ISN’T JUST FOR BIKES! We found Jon and Stacy on the Back 40 today. They hike the trails, which run right by their house, at least four times a week. Usually, they pick a direction from their house and go, but sometimes they like to drive to another part of the system and discover new places. The bridge around the bluff at Trafalgar is on their list. There’s enough to keep them busy all summer, Stacy said. They moved to Bella Vista from Bentonville, and the trails are like their own private paradise. They’ve never had an unfriendly run-in with other trail users — runners or bikers. Everyone is just happy to be out. Stacy’s sister is coming to visit this week from Colorado, and they can’t wait to show her what they have here in Arkansas. We bet Stacy’s sister will want to visit more often… On foot or bike, our trails are for everyone. You can walk the same section two days in a row and see things completely different.
