The Process Posted on September 14, 2016by Michael Cazayoux At times I focus too much on the end goal. At times I just focus on achievements. At times I compare myself to others. I’ve noticed more and more lately that I’m happiest when I focus on my own effort and fall in love with the process of learning rather than being too tied to the outcome. There will ALWAYS be more to achieve, and there will ALWAYS be someone out there doing something, maybe not your thing, bigger and better than you. Focus on doing YOUR thing to the best of your ability, and fall in love with the process.

CrossFit is a Sport, The Sport of all sports. There is no other sport that is as demanding of an individual to be good at so many different elements. I have been so blessed to continue staying healthy and continuously progressing year after year. This will be my last year as an individual in the 18-34 year old division. This year is my year! It can be very difficult to stay on your nutrition plan while out and about. So you must plan ahead. My fitness pal is a great application to keep track of all of your Macro Nutrients. Most restaurants have there nutrition facts on there website and you can always make adjustments at most resturants. Coach dani is at "the corner bakery" and it takes some time and again planning but it can be done. She found a chicken sausage egg white flat (flat bread) protein = 26 carbs = 27 fats = 11 and it you want to get rid of some fats you can get rid of the cheese. If you need to eliminate some carbs just get rid of the bread. So friends it is possible to stay on point it just requires a tad bit of planning and work. On a side note she wanted to order a salad but the dressings had over 50/60 grams of fat in 2 tblsp. That is crazzzy! Your salads. Lol... that is more fats then she is alowed in her whole day. I feel like this at least once a week where all I want to do is inhale Donuts, or pretty much anything that's not considered healthy. There was a time I would allow myself to do that and I would justify my actions by how much I worked out that week or that it's just this one time. Now it's completely normal to feel like this but it is not okay to allow yourself to give in to those feelings. So how do we overcome adversity especially when it comes to nutrition which seems to be the hardest thing for me personally to stay consistent on. Well everytime I feel like I want to indulge in some donuts and cake or some pizza and beer or whatever it is that my taste buds are watering over. I think of it as a a video game if I pass this level (test)and do not give in, I get to move on to the next level , but if I fail this level ( test) and give in I have to start back at the beginning and made no progress. Now there's nothing wrong with a donut or a reward meal from time to time just make sure when you have it it's not because you need it it's because it's a reward and you're allowing yourself to have it because you've earned it.
