Daniel Mickel, CSCS Daniel Mickel is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has a BS in Physical Education (Health & Wellness) and a MS in Sports Management (Coaching Theory & Strategy). He is a Certified Running Coach through the Road Runners' Club of America and a Perinatal Fitness Instructor through Healthy Mom's Fitness. Daniel has experience working at the Summerville Family YMCA as a Personal Trainer and Road Running Coach. He was the Physical Training Instructor for Marine Officer Candidates at The Citadel. Daniel participated in a breast cancer/exercise research project as the personal trainer for the ladies involved. He has enjoyed coaching his children in little league football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Daniel was also a volunteer at the outpatient physical therapy clinic at the VA Hospital in Charleston, SC as well as a Physical Therapist Aide at Sports Plus Physical Therapy in Charleston, a Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation affiliate. He has a wide variety of experiences that can be used to meet your exercise needs. He is currently the owner of Beaufort Athletic Club, LLC, a small personal training studio in Downtown Beaufort.
