Description
Baker City's finest movie theater! The Eltrym Theater is a 3-screen first run movie theater with stadium seating and new digital projection and sound. This unique Art-Deco theater was originally built in 1940 as a single screen designed by Day Walter Hilborn, a prominent Vancouver area architect. Since 2008, the Eltrym has been owned and operated by Daniel McQuisten & Teresa (Terry) McQuisten. The Eltrym is home to the We Like ‘Em Short Film Festival.

"Baywatch" (R) starts tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:00. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" (PG-13) opens Friday. We'll be holding "Alien: Covenant" (R) for one more week. "Wonder Woman" (PG-13) will open on June 2nd.

"The Promise" (PG-13) and "Gifted" (PG-13) start Friday and we will hold "Fate of the Furious" (PG-13) for another week. "The Promise," starring Christian Bale, tells the story of a love triangle between three people set during the last war-torn, chaotic days of the Ottoman Empire, leading into the Armenian Genocide. "Gifted," starring Chris Evans and Octavia Spencer, tell the story of a man raising his niece, who happens to be a child prodigy, as he attempts to give her a normal life. He gets into a custody battle with his mother (the girls grandmother) who has other plans for her granddaughter and her great mathematical talent.
