"The Boys of '36" is on PBS/KCTS at 9:00 pm tonight -- a must see! Two Bainbridge connections to the movie: One of the boys in the boat, Jim McMillin, lived on Bainbridge several years (and we have a boat named for him); and BIR alum rower and now UW rower Harrison King is in the film's re-enactment of the boys rowing. Don't miss it!

Congrats to brothers Cooper and former BIR rower Nate Rooks on their R2AK race to Ketchikan. You did it!!!
Great to see everyone last night at the screening of "The Boys of '36!" We had a great turnout! Lots of neat BIR connections to the movie. If you missed it, it will air Aug. 2nd on PBS. Also, they've made a lot of progress on construction of the first phase of the Rowing Center and the site has completely changed! #rowingcenter #movingdirt #waterfrontpark
