Twitter - https://twitter.com/harvest_cc https://twitter.com/BishopForeman  Harvest Christian Center is a life giving, non-denominational, family oriented, multi-cultural, multi-generational, spirit filled church for everyone. At Harvest, we believe that regardless of your yesterday, God has a great future in store for you.

Planted in May of 2006 by Dr. Foreman from scratch, we exist to change lives by leading people to totally love God, love people, and love life as one church in global locations.

Harvest is passionate about not just changing people, but the communities surrounding each campus and now, in a short time, what started as a Bible study in our Bishop’s living room, has quickly multiplied and become a church that has an impact around the globe. You can find out more about what we believe by visiting: www.harvestcc.me/new-here/what-we-believe/ or you can read about some of the lives that have been changed through Harvest by visiting the Changed Lives Blog at changedlives.tumblr.com.

WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL: Week 15 | He Got Up Matthew 28:2 (NKJV) - And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. Every year, the world sets aside a day called “Easter.” As believers, we don’t honor that pagan celebration, we celebrate the wonderful resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Not to say that anything is wrong with bunnies and eggs, but that’s not the purpose of the day. Christ rose on the Feast of First Fruits, which is that great Sunday we celebrate. Christ was crucified during the Passover. His blood was shed just like the blood of the lamb was shed and applied at the doorposts of the Children of Israel. Christ has paid the price for all of our sins. There is nothing that we can do to be justified other than accept His free gift of salvation. When Jesus was in the belly of the earth for three days, He was securing the victory for you and I. Our success is secured in the fact that He got up!! We are winners because He got up. All of our sins and mistakes were nailed to the cross. If He didn’t want you to be victorious, He wouldn’t have risen. Faith Confession: Father, thank You for getting up for me. When You rose, You secured the victory for me in every area of my life when I submit to Your Word. I choose to rest in Your resurrection. You got up so that I can get up!! In Jesus’ name, Amen. Challenge for the Week: The Passover marked the beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This feast was a time when all of the "leaven" in one’s life had to be removed, because "a little leaven leavens the whole." Leaven is symbolic of the imperfection, error & sin in our lives. Our challenge this week is to identify areas in our lives where there is leaven and put it out of our homes. If secular music always makes you think of former things, it’s leaven. If you have a problem cussing, then come up with some way to keep yourself from doing so. Gid rid of the leaven!
