The House at 102 Staniford Street in the Auburndale section of Newton, Massachusetts, is a rare surviving element of Auburndale's agricultural past. The 2 1/2 story wood frame house was built c. 1869, and exhibits vernacular Italianate styling in its round-arch windows in the gables. The present entrance, sheltered by a full-width porch, is in what was originally the rear ell of the house. The property also includes two 19th century barns.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
