Attleboro Public Library
Description
The Attleboro Public Library serves as a learning and educational center providing access to resources and services for the information, recreation, intellectual development, and enrichment of our community and its members. The Library opened at its present location on 74 North Main Street in November 1907. Although from its beginnings in 1885, the collections of the "Attleboro Free Public Library" had been housed in buildings near the center of the city, there had not been a dedicated library building until Joseph Lyman Sweet donated land for one.
