Montessori Teacher Education Institute
Description
The Montessori Teacher Education Institute was launched to provide Montessori teacher training to Atlanta. The programs are designed for working professionals by offering courses on weekday nights and on weekends. This is the second series offered at the institute by highly experienced instructors. Our instructors include:
• Marjorie Horton (Institute Director and Early Childhood Montessori instructor). Marj has worked in a variety of capacities in the Montessori community for over 30 years: Primary Teacher, Head of School, and Montessori institute director and instructor in 3 states.
• Christine Frost (Infant-Toddler Instructor). She has been training Infant-Toddler adult learners in New Jersey for approximately 10 years. Before this, she was a Montessori toddler and primary teacher.
• Dr. Ashley Darcy (Assistant Director and both an Early Childhood and Infant-Toddler Instructor). She assists Marjorie and Christine in course instruction and is a credentialed Montessori teacher and BFTS instructor.
