Theatre Atchison's Mission is to serve people through the theatre arts by providing opportunities for artistic growth and development. We strive to achieve this mission with fiscal, artistic and ethical responsibility. Founded in 1984, Theatre Atchison has a reputation of producing quality theatrical performances. With three full time staff and over twenty five contracted artists Theatre Atchison presents six main stage and four youth shows annually.
Since 2002 the theatre has been experiencing a renaissance with renewed interest in memberships and community support. The theater has a very strong board of directors whose expertise and leadership represent a wide diversity of the Atchison community.
As Theatre Atchison looks towards the future and our ability to serve the community we are excited about a renovation project that will add a performance space to increase its scope of programming to include dinner theatre as well as additional performances from our main stage season, readers theater and youth shows.

TA's 8th Annual Spring Tea
Theatre Atchison's 2017 Annual Spring Tea! Theatre Atchison's most popular fundraiser is back again! Enjoy an afternoon with food, friends, and Theatre Atchison! The event begins with a Silent Auction at 1:30. At 2:00 the Tea Room opens for viewing, and at 3:00, a lovely afternoon tea begins. The afternoon will include live entertainment, with a sneak peak at next year's shows. Prizes will be awarded for the best hats! SPACE IS LIMITED. Tickets are only $20, available from Theatre Atchison's Business Office. No children under 12. Please call (913) 367-1647, or email theatre@theatreatchison.org.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Theatre Atchison's A.C.T.T (Atchison Community Teen Thespians) is putting on a production of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", by the one and only William Shakespeare. A fantastic performance is coming together – great actors, live music, and a famous script. Come see this classic show, perfect for April Fools weekend! Performances are Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 at 7:00 p. m. Tickets are available at the door, only $5 each!
