We are proud that Holly (GCHS Robnie Home for the Holidays) tied for top Labrador Dam of 2015 as reported in the August 2016 Dogs in Review. She produced three Champions last year: GCH Potomac Falls Luck of the Irish (Holly x Trouble), CH Potomac Falls Wreck-It-Ralph JH (Holly x Trouble), and GCH Potomac Falls Key Largo JH (Holly x Salty Dog). We are also excited for GCH Gateway's Nothin' But Trouble, who sired Holly's first litter, for being the top producing Sire for 2015. He sired 13 Champions in 2015!

Bogart (GCh Potomac Falls Key Largo JH) (Holly x Salty Dog) is proud of his Sporting Group 4 Placement today at the Victory Lane Classic Dog Show. We've had an exciting weekend! Bogart (Holly x Salty) was in Asheville for the Blue Ridge Classic of the Carolinas. Highlights of the weekend included wining best of breed, meeting nephew Guy (13 week old Daisy x Spencer), and getting a surprise visit from brother Ralphie (Holly x Trouble)! Here's a picture of Bogie during the Sporting Group competition on Sunday with fabulous handler Dennis Brown.

Congratulations, Bogart (Holly x Salty), on being a top 10 labrador in Breed standings, a top 5 labrador in Grand Champion standings, and a top 15 labrador in All Breed standings. We are proud of GCH CH Potomac Falls Key Largo JH for coming on strong this Spring after sitting out most of January and February to get settled in our new home in Asheville. Thanks to Dennis Brown for showing him so beautifully!

Rest in peace our beloved Izzie. You were a loyal and loving companion to Tom’s father in the last years of his life, and then to us and especially to Lily for the last years of your life. Your sweet and gentle soul touched every person who met you. You are the reason we started showing dogs. And while you were not the showiest of our dogs, you were the kindest. You loved belly rubs and sticks of butter and greeting everyone who came to our door. We miss you, sweet Izzie girl.

Group placement for Bogart (Holly x Salty) this weekend! GCH CH Potomac Falls Key Largo JH placed third in the Sporting Group at the Western Carolina Dog Fanciers Association. He is also a top 20 Labrador in national breed points for the first quarter of 2016. Way to go, Bogie!
