Description
Ankeny Miracle Park is the All-Inclusive Playground & Miracle League Field of Ankeny created by City of Ankeny, Ankeny Kiwanis, and community members. Ankeny Miracle Park is located in Hawkeye Park next to Terrace Elementary School and provides non-competitive co-ed Miracle League baseball leagues for children and adults with special needs, volunteer Buddies to assist and protect players during play, an obstacle-free accessible ball field surface, and an over 14,000 square foot sized all-inclusive playground that includes accessible equipment, equipment often found at other playgrounds, and equipment that encourages children of all abilities to play together.
