Meet Jeff! Jeff is a pastor locally at Cornerstone church in Ames. He joined as part of our New You Program and is having a blast so far with the 6:00am crew after his first month with Max Oxygen. In his first month, we set two goals: lose 5 lbs and accomplish a kipping pull-up! Meet Nicole! Nicole has been active in the local gym community for 6 years! Recently she felt the need for a change and a friend referred her to check CrossFit out. She enjoys the challenges that have been provided. Her goal is to be able to do a pull-up! Her favorite part of the workouts are the strength portions, though she really enjoys just coming to class and seeing what new workout she has in front of her. When she isn't working hard in the gym, she's working hard at the Iowa DOT. She assists with the Iowa counties and cities by providing them guidance on various projects. Nicole's biggest enjoyment at work is helping others succeed in their jobs. Welcome to the family, Nicole! #MaxOxygenCrossfit

Meet Kent! Kent has been with us for a couple months now. He has seen some great progress. We greatly appreciate his humility and the standard he holds himself to. His fitness background includes running and he enjoys the occasional pick up basketball game. Outside of the gym you can find him working at Hyvee in the Produce section or enjoying outdoor work at home. Kent began with Max Oxygen to fill the need for a challenge and good discipline. He desired a healthier lifestyle and knew we could provide that. Kent says, "It's done so much for me physically as well as mentally. I feel better now (43) than I did when I was 30." He looks forward to the continued progress. Kent says he couldn't be happier with how things have gone so far; it's changed his attitude in a positive way about all aspects of life.
