Where is the source of Altus drinking water? Since 1975 the City of Altus has used the Tom Steed Reservoir as its primary source of drinking water. 2 awards were presented last night at City Council meeting. Altus Police Department awarded Law Enforcement Accreditation Status by Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group (OMAG). Parks and Recreation employee, Freddy Perez, recognized by Oklahoma Career and Technical Education Equity Council (OkCTEEC) for his involvement in the POWER program. Congratulations!
