Well not sure if the picture shows it very well or not but would definitely have to say tonight was the busiest night we've had since we've opened . Have to admit it's kind of a rush watching your business grow . I'm used to it with Team Ironclad Physique but this is a whole different animal . It's pretty cool watching people use something you out together and telling you how much they like it and the atmosphere you've created . It's not quite perfect yet but definitely a work in progress . This place has been a lot of work . A lot of time , a lot of physical labor , a lot of everything in general , but as it gets busier , as I see more and more and more people coming in , the effort that was put in is starting to pay back . Not monetarily yet , but the compliments we get from people , seeing how happy people are here , how motivated people are , how the members interact with each other . This place is starting to become everything I wanted it to be . Is it where I want it to be yet ? Not quite , but it's getting closer everyday . The reality is I have my members to thank , the support they show the club and how they want it to succeed . It's a pretty cool feeling when you have a vision , whatever that vision may be , and you do everything you can to make it happen , and than you see it happening right before your eyes . In my case I wanted to open a gym . But a different kind of gym . Where everyone is welcome , not to be judged for what they look like , or for what their goal may be , but because they are there to achieve whatever they want to . I wanted a place where people motivate each other , where you're happy to be there , and almost don't want to leave . Day by day I'm watching Ironclad Gym become that . People are training hard , motivating each other , saying Hi to everyone when they come in and bye when they leave . Best of all they are in a good mood when they are here and having fun . It's kind of infectious . I'm excited for what's happening , and even more excited to see what it's going to become .

So . Not sure exactly what words to use , what to say , to cry , to laugh or just breathe a gigantic sigh of relief . What has been a tremendous stress -leading up to what will hopefully be a huge goal achieved has finally happened . What has been more of a showroom of really nice exercise equipment is now a gym ready to be used . For those of you that have been waiting for awhile , I can't even begin to thank you for your patience. For those who have helped along the way I'm beyond grateful . For those who haven't been here yet to check the place out , I'd love to have you as our guest . Omg -were open 😜

So they say something that's rewarding typically never comes easy . I don't know if that's true all the time , but in this case , it's definitely a fact . Ever since Golds Gym in Altamonte closed last August I've either been thinking about or working on getting a gym , Ironclad Gym to become a reality . To say it hasn't been easy is an understatement . Besides all the normal things to do in starting any business , add onto it moving heavy ass workout equipment around , moving and installing about 28000 lbs of flooring , constant cleaning from construction work , wiping down equipment , scrubbing floors , dealing with sometimes not the best people in their trades , tough inspectors , and spending a ton of money . I've lost more weight than I have except when getting ready for a show . I've missed most of my workouts from trying to stay on top of the gym . Been stressed out , lost sleep , you name it . Did I do it because I want a successful business , yeah partially , but what I wanted the most was a place where I could be around what I like the most . Where the members all motivate each other . Where we truly don't judge based on what your goals are . Where you can walk in the door and not be looked at like you don't belong here . A place where people can get healthier , train harder , reach their goals , and be encouraged . A place that makes you feel like you're wanted there , and not just a number in a system . Well after dealing with more than I would've hoped for , it looks like 2017 will be starting off with us opening up sometime next week . Finally . For those of you that have helped along the way , cleaning , putting stuff together , laying mats and everything else , not for money , but just to have helped me make this dream happen , and you know who you are so I don't need to say your names , I thank you from the bottom of my heart . For those of you who have signed up early and patiently waited , thank you for the support and I hope you find it was worth the wait . Ok . Announcement number 2 ...... Drumroll please . It's been a long , agonizing , frustrating road since August , and at times I wanted to say just forget the whole idea but ... I'm happy to announce that we've officially signed the lease to make IRONCLAD GYM become a reality . The support and encouragement we have received along the way had been amazing and I'm so excited ( and a little nervous ) to get this gym going . We are looking to make a gym for everyone . Beginners , advanced , people just looking to get in shape or competitive athletes who want a place to train where they won't be looked at weird . If you wanna carry a 5 gallon jug of water around to drink or 4 oz -go ahead . You wanna cover up your whole body from head to toe , or want to train in a tank top go ahead . I want this gym to be for the members . To make it everything they want and more . It's a way of giving back to a career and an industry that I have a passion for . Pre sales should start in a couple of weeks . I'll be posting details as we go along . We'd love to have your support , and to help motivate you , and for you to help motivate us to be the best gym we can be .
