NO DUMPING YOUR GARBAGE AND GREEN WASTE!... PLEASE!!! Alpine City has a growing problem with people dumping garbage, grass clippings, tree limbs, etc. on Alpine City open space and on vacant lots. This creates blight, fire hazards, bad smells and general nuisances. Please do not be someone who is part of this problem. It might seem harmless to some people to dump something that is “biodegradable” in an undeveloped natural area. It doesn’t work out that way. If you do not own the property, don’t dump your garbage or green waste in it! If you are dumping your garbage or green waste in open space or on a vacant lot, please stop! If you need help with knowing where to dump your garbage or green waste, visit the wonderful ladies in the front office at City Hall. Each household can receive one free dump pass per calendar year. If you have already used your dump pass and you have more garbage and green waste, it might be time to get an additional garbage can ($6.00 per month) or please simply pay the small fee at the dump. If you need to dump just green waste, it is free!... at the Timpanogas Special Service District location west of I-15 exit 275. If you are not a part of this problem, thank you!!! If you see or know about someone dumping garbage or green waste where they shouldn’t, talk to them about it. Alpine City places great value in its open spaces. Please be a part of preserving and maintaining these wonderful assets to the community.

2017 ALPINE TRAIL DAY Volunteers will be meeting at the Bowery and Rodeo Grounds to do some trail maintenance and weed control in Lambert Park on Saturday, May 20th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Please bring gloves and wear long sleeves and pants.
