Description
Clube De Jiu-JItsu Pitbull is a high level BJJ academy affiliated with 3rd degree black belt, Professor Jean Vandesteen, and the home of The Giant Slayer. Top level Gracie Jiu-Jitsu taught by multiple time champions and high level coaches. At the Pitbull academy you will learn and train to be confident in self-defence and competition situations. More than 90% of the team competes on a regular basis, each member placing in the top three; more often than not placing first. Our head instructor Este Martinez is the most decorated practitioners in the state, and has also competed against and won first place in divisions with other top local contenders and instructors. We also have the honor to have regular visits from Professor Jean Vandesteen, a third degree black belt that heads the Leblon, Brasil Relson Gracie headquarters, as well as many other Pitbull Gracie BJJ masters throughout the year.

Alright team, this is Coach Rich. I have to make a notice about being sick: do not come in to training if you are sick! We love you and you are important to the entire team, but almost everyone at our club is a competitor and, because of the work we have done, a lot of you are now professional fighters, so we cannot afford to have an illness brought into the academy. Stay healthy, eat well, be of clean spirit and train your hardest at all times except when you are sick!
