facebook.comWe've clearly been "thinking spring" a bit too literally, folks! It's been Farmer's Market weather for the last week, but it's only February! Cool it! See you in May. :)
Howdy everyone! Tomorrow's the last winter market, then we're off until May. Come make it a good one! I know Dale is interested in potentially coming to the Hub once a week to sell eggs and other products, so get in touch with him tomorrow if you're interested. See you at 10AM!

It's almost cold enough for me to start sprinkling my weekly post with McKenzie Brothers references. Good morning! Second-to-last winter market is today, but I'm assured your usual spate of good stuff will be on hand. Did...did you try one of Dale's smoked turkey legs? I did, and I didn't need to eat for another three days. I'm not sure what other tricks he's got up his sleeve, but I'm excited to find out! Plus, I think Green Eggs and Jam might have a delicious thing or two on offer...guess you'll have to come see us and find out! It's a cold, but beeeeeeeautiful morning here in Albion, can't wait to see you!
I drove by Stoffer Plaza today and remembered all those hot, humid days in August when all I wanted was a cool breeze. How foolish! Anyway, two more weeks of the indoor market, then we're off until May. Make sure you come by and say hello!
Gooooood morning! It's a little chilly out there (January in Michigan, what'd you expect?), but we'd love to see you here in the back of the Food Hub! Dale's got more ground turkey and SMOKED TURKEY LEGS - if you come in sometime around 11AM, you'll see me scarfing one of those down. Overholts are here packing their usual bevy of baked goods, with cinnamon rolls, baked fresh this morning! Tony's got a few green things, the NUO kids are here, and Dorothy is repping Albion Community Gardens with some fine baked goods (baguettes, mon dieu!). Come see us!
Build Albion AmeriCorps VISTA Initiative
My AmericaCorps friends will be here today, if you haven't filled out their survey, take 3 minutes and help them out!
It's actually...warm...outside! I'm not getting my hopes up, but hey, spring's only a few months away, right? Market is open this morning, we'll have Green Eggs and Jam with their delightful baked treats, Dale's in the house with eggs, and I hear rumors he's going to start having ground turkey for sale! Tony's got some green, and you have your usual assortment of arts and crafts...see you at 10am!
Passing this along for my friends at CBA: Citizens to Beautify Albion plants flowers around the city to make it more beautiful for us all to enjoy. Our annual fundraiser, Men Who Cook, will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 980 Haven Rd., Albion (NEW LOCATION). Holding Men Who Cook during the middle of winter helps to remind us that soon - if not soon enough! - we will be enjoying the flowers purchased from the proceeds of this wonderful event. Would you volunteer to cook for us this year? As a small token of our thanks to you, cooks eat free. You can eat either before or after your shift (and we move you to the head of the line, so no waiting!). Please contact us with any questions or to let us know you are joining us! Albion Food Hub
It's a little chilly outside, a little grey - but that's okay! Come down and see us this morning, have some coffee, buy a treat, say hi! Warm our spirits! Market opens at 10am!
We've got hot coffee, baked goods (Overholts AND everyone's favorite Amish bakers), crafts, a TON of scented...everything (Esham Family Farms in the house with candles, lotions, wax melts), eggs...come see us! It's not THAT bad outside! :)
Well, at least it's above zero, right? Come down, say hi, buy some baked goods and warm us up with a smile and a laugh! See you at 10am.
