Found running from the fire in Devore, working educational child therapy with The Hilaroo Foundation, starring on Fox's All Star Dog Rescue Celebration with Betty White - our Senior Superstar has just been given the role of a lifetime - a Forever Family!! Tear Alert: Some rescue cases have no indication of going south, and yet - we find ourselves to be the last home of a rescue dog. That makes us Family and so is the case of the handsome hound known as Ashby. Ashby came to us from the Victorville/Apple Valley Area, undergoing normal shelter issues he made a quick recovery and was on his way to being adopted. This love of a boy had the BEST weekend! Our Youth Volunteer Program had new kids loving on him (and Raylan) walking them and spending extra bellyrub time. Sunday evening Ashby suddenly left us for the rainbow bridge, Bloat took his life with no advance warning. This beautiful boy is now running free - and our tears are falling as we miss him today.
