What a successful day we’ve had for our Easter Holiday Stable Day! 🐴 It’s been jam packed from start to finish; stable duties, lots of grooming, horseback games (which tired us out nevermind the ponies!) an Easter Egg hunt all around the yard and to finish a fab horsey quiz. The weather even held out for us too 🌤 Thank you to all the kids that came along, you were great and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Hopefully another one will be in the pipeline for May Half term and it may even be a full day next time! 🤞🏼

With Spring finally in the air, we’ve decided to have our own Spring shake up here at Roxloe 🌻🌞 Why not check out our new pricing structure and get those riding lessons booked in you’ve been wanting to try out? All our lessons are fun, friendly and range from total beginners to riders who just want to gain more confidence. Joint lessons are available for 2 riders so you can still get the most out of your lesson. Course of show jumps ready for hire this week. We can also fit a 20x40 dressage arena in our huge school with some jumps in the bottom end. Message your requirements when booking 😉 Polite customer notice: there may be people who have hired the arena the hour before and after your slot. Please keep to your allocated time. 🐴

Nice pole/grid work clinic today with two lovely horses and riders who thoroughly enjoyed it. And even the sun came out. 🐴😊

Unfortunately due to the amount of snow on the school surface and road conditions (yet again!), despite best efforts of trying to clear it all today’s lessons and school hire will have to be cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience.

From 1 weekend ☀️ ➡️ to the next! ☃️ The Beast from the East hit us hard at Roxloe but the horses definitely enjoyed a few days off to play in the snow! ❄️ However, we are seeing a massive thaw today so hopefully this week everything will resume as normal! So why not come and join us for lessons - available throughout the week and weekend (subject to availability) and say goodbye to the snow and get ready for Spring! From the 1st of April, we will be having a restructure of the pricing list for lessons which we will let you all know - but until then they will remain the same so give us a message and we will get you booked in! 🦄

Our fantastic rubber 20x70 arena with LED floodlights is available to hire. Full set of showjumps included including fillers, planks, animal wings, viaduct fillers to name a few. Never floods. £15/hour per horse/rider and £5 per subsequent horse/rider at the same time up to a maximum of 3. If floodlights are needed an extra £5 to cover this. Session will cover; 🐴 Mucking out and stable duties 🐴 Grooming 🐴 Unmounted games in the arena 🐴 Pony themed quiz You will also have a 25 minute riding lesson. Ages from 8, maximum 4 in a group. 50% non refundable deposit secures your place on a first come first served basis. £25 9:30am - 12:30pm

Apologies for not updating this page sooner! Its been a very busy past few weeks! We can now confirm that Roxloe Equestrian Centre is under *** NEW OWNERSHIP & MANAGEMENT *** We are Claire & Colin Chapman and along with our Daughter Kate, we will be running Roxloe. We will continue with the Riding School & Livery Yard. The Riding School only has a limited number of ponies/horses at the moment but we plan to acquire a few more in the New Year. We are currently updating & improving the Livery Yard and in the New Year we will be taking on new clients and offering DIY, assisted DIY & Full Livery and hopefully Competition Livery. We will continue to hire out our amazing 20x70 rubber arena (which DOES NOT flood!) with LED flood lights for the dark nights! We are hoping to run some pony/stable days over the Festive period, we will post more details about this soon! The website will be updated over the next few weeks too!
