We are rather proud of this car. The largest and longest project we have taken on. Full strip down and repaint in its original colour and then reassembled . Normally we do the oily and mechanical bits. Not so with this car. The red rot had started to get into the car and so it was decided to do a full glass out respray. Every nut, bolt and part was removed and either refurbished or replaced. It’s taken us 6 months and we are rather pleased with the result as is the owner who has just collected it. @ Renaissance Classic Sports Cars

Slowly upgrading a customers 987 gen 2 Boxster S for track usage. First it was Bilstein dampers and upgraded springs. Now it’s a set of H@R anti roll bars and 4 wheel alignment. What’s next only time will tell. Stickier rubber, improved engine mounts, poly bushes, what would you choose next on your track day upgrades? @ Renaissance Classic Sports Cars

This Audi R8 we sold a while back and we rescued it for the owner as the battery had gone flat whilst he was away on holiday. We came to his house started the car and took the car back to give it a good check over before handing back to its owner once more. The R8 has a special blend of usability like a 911 while being supercar special. They drive great too with that vocal V8 and manual gearbox.

Removing the rear damper from an E46 we were a bit shocked to see the state of corrosion on the damper. We have not seen one this bad. This is something worth checking and changing on these older cars.

The ACL2S has been playing hide and seek in the woods. We have been getting some cracking photos.

If you go down to the woods today. You be in for a Schnitzer surprise.
It’s Tuesday and we are restoring some very sun damaged plastic scuttle trim using a heat gun. The heat builds up in the plastic and pulls the colour to the surface. While it can’t perform miracles it certainly can improve a tired piece of plastic. On an older car it’s sometimes not possible to acquire a new piece of trim and this tip can help you in those circumstances.

Schnitzer Saturday we took the ACL2S to Goodwood today and enjoyed the festival of speed, had a good look at the new AC Schnitzer 8 series conversion. Revelled in the fantastic cars and enjoyed the sights and sounds. A couple of BMW photos for you to enjoy. @ Goodwood Festival of Speed

Track car preparation Thursday. We have been fitting some Lexicon windows to a 325ti compact #bmwcup we have been preparing. The build is nearing completion now with all the light weight works completed and all the control parts fitted. It’s now a case of finalising the safety parts and setting up the suspension ready for its first shake down.
