Two new PGA Champions in Hampshire have been crowned recently, today Elliott Groves(Romsey) pictured above won the Trainees event at Waterlooville. Last week Gary Stubbington( Hockley) became the Seniors Champion at Corhampton.

The first PGA in Hampshire Seniors Championship takes place tomorrow at Corhampton gc. Sponsored by R&M Electrical Group Ltd the field includes ex Ryder Cup stars Peter Dawson and Steve Richardson.

Martin Adams( Swanmore) wins Sandford Springs gc Pro Am on Friday and almost certainly now has secured 2016 OOM title..

Ex Ryder cup star Steve Richardson wins the PGA in Hampshire short course Championship at an immaculate Ampfield Golf Club. The 18 hole par 3 course is being improved all the time, and there are big plans for the coming years according to Mark Hazell, pictured presenting Steve with the trophy.

Mating Adams wins Oxford Brasserie PGA in Hampshire Match Play title and returns to the top of the OOM!!!

Jon Barnes( Lee on Solent) took over at the top of the PGA in Hampshire Oom after his victory at the Alresford GC Hendy Group Pro Am this week. He and the other contenders for the top spot have a busy week ahead with the Match play Championship( Corhampton) ,the Short course Championship( Ampfield) and the Brokenhurst Pro Am all in the next 7 days! Should be an exciting week!!!

Kevin Saunders( Brokenhurst) won the Be Wiser Insurance PGA in Hampshire Masters Championship at Hartley Wintney GC yesterday. He finished one shot ahead of Jon Barnes( Lee on Solent) and three ahead of Adam Hickling(Stoneham).
