Live music from the SWAMP - Usually, but not always, 3rd Friday of the month! The events at the White Hart are being organised by the Society for Winchcombe Arts and Music Promotion. This is a not-for-profit team putting on events in the town of a professional standard in a venue offering a comfortable environment. You can expect folk, jazz, roots, and world music, but we are starting out with a season of the blues. Come along and enjoy, you'll be made welcome. Keep the third Friday of each month free! Anyone have suggestions for future acts?

Really great gig from Brooks Williams last night, and really inspiring workshop from him this morning. What a great communicator this man is!

GUITAR WORKSHOP AT THE WHITE HART, WINCHCOMBE SATURDAY 20TH FEBRUARY, 10-30AM UNTIL MIDDAY American Brooks Williams is a well-respected teacher whose guitar masterclasses are highly regarded. His Workshops feature lots of one-on-one time as well as ample group playing. Topics have included Americana guitar, blues guitar, slide guitar, and songwriting in the roots music tradition and co-writing. His two guitar instructional DVDs on Woodhall Music, Blues For Beginners and Guitar Groove, are praised for their accessibility as well as his “easy and engaging presence on screen.”.
