A creative learning environment, preparing young adults with disabilities for employment. All products are handmade by independent artisans. Fayre and Square is a community shop that provides training placements and group sessions to young people with learning disabilities, mental health issues or other significant barriers to employment.  Fayre and Square is run by MVSC staff and volunteers and is supported by local small business and traders, who provide their amazing hand made products for learners to sell to the public as well as giving their time to running Fayre and Square.
As well as providing supported placements for individual learners, Fayre and Square are now able to offer classroom/workspace to schools and colleges as well as other organisation’s for up to a maximum of six pupils a session.  Students can enjoy the hundreds of products we have to sell, as well as full access to all of the aspects of a fully functioning retail environment. You will have the opportunity to utilise a functional shop/retail setting to hold and create bespoke lessons or learning packages to suit pupils/ schools needs during opening hours.
Students take part in valuable work experience while learning.  This in turn supports schools and colleges with work experience targets.
Alternatively, Fayre and square can offer its own learning packages, all relating to the following skills:
Customer service
Money handling
Till work
Stock rotation

Team work
Literacy and Numeracy
Time keeping
