Remembrance Sunday Service 2017 Wickford Memorial Park. - Start meeting at 10am in the Coop car park in wickford town. - - Depart at 10:20 with the parade walking through the high street, continue up Runwell Road and enter the park at Memorial Ave. - Service is all held by the main war memorial at the Runwell Road entrance of Memorial Ave. - There will be service from 1045-1130 approx including silence at 1100 and laying of wreaths. - The avenue will also be ‘decorated’ with flags and poppy crosses for the remembrance weekend. - Thanks to the events main organisers, The Royal British Legion. - Thanks also to Wickford war Memorial Association.
A big thanks to the wickford Rotary club for organising another fantastic firework display on Saturday night. A big turnout and a great evening all round. A big thankyou as well to "producer Alex" (Alex Williamson) from heart fm essex for hosting the night and helping to kick off the display. all proceeds from the even go to the Essex air ambulance service and other rotary club charitable causes... So thanks to everyone who came for your support and helping to make the event a huge success. 🎆 🔥 🎆
Fireworks in the park is on the 4th November Gates open 6pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm prompt. Presale progs £5 adult, £4 child, £15 family Sutton’s have progs for sale. Gate sales £6 adult, £5 child, £20 family
