Cottage Kit Homes Ltd
Description
Cottage Kit Homes offer one simple concept with many options, which ensure you get the home you need and desire. Directories define a cottage as a small, simple, cosy house, usually in the countryside.
This defines Cottage Kit Homes which provide understated value for money rather than ‘grand designs’ which most people cannot afford and are a waste of money.

facebook.comIt’s time to take advantage of affordable prefabricated Homes. When I visited UK Construction week last year, I was lucky enough to be at an impromptu talk by architect, television presenter, writer, and lecturer George Clarke. He was speaking to visitors to the show about how prefabricated homes are part of the answer to building more houses in the UK. Like me, George is extremely passionate about the subject of prefabricated or ‘Kit’ Homes. He spoke with enthusiasm to a captivated audience about how the building industry needs to build houses quicker, better, more affordably without compromising on time, care and investment something which can be achieved by building more kit homes. Kit homes once had the tag of being uninspiring, cold, soulless properties but that’s not the case anymore. There is now such a wide range of designs and materials to choose from; the modern or the traditional, timber or brick, single-storey or two-storey, so many different tastes and visions can be met. But the housebuilding industry needs to encourage more people to go down the route of buying kit homes. Many of us watch Grand Designs and sit there in awe at some of the fantastic houses that people build. We see the cost and think ‘woah’. But self-build properties can have the Grand Designs look without the price tag. Designing a Cottage Kit Home is so easy. There are 37 standard layouts with lots of beautiful design features. We have everything from a one-bedroomed cottage that’s just under 60 square metres, to a stunning four-bedroomed home with feature windows, and everything in between. All the styles can be extended in length to create extra space and we guide you through choosing the design features, options and layout to build the home you want to live in. Clever timber frame design means that any internal wall can be moved or removed to make the inside space individual to you. So, whether it’s extending the size of the living area or master bedroom, or adding a utility or an extra en-suite, we can do it.
