facebook.comBadladz ll has been more or less stuck in the harbour all winter so tonight we went a spin and then James pulls out two fishing rods, bingo HADDOCK fish on!
We all love to fish and Wick sea fishing operates all year round (Weather dependent) but when we have a swell greater than 1.5 meters, for safety reasons we always air on the side of caution. This is Wick bay with a south east wind, badladz ll has extra ropes out today!
Looking for something different, relax in East Mey after a day's fishing with us.
Wick sea fishing is currently taking bookings for next year 2018. Our 10m vessel Bad Ladz II is spacious, comes safety equipped and benefits from rails all round and bait table, we are licensed for 10 anglers and 2 crew members both of which are fully qualified in all aspects and both are keen anglers themselves for nearly 40 years each. Caithness and more importantly Wick offers stunning scenery, excellent fishing and is situated on the now famous North Coast 500 near John O Groats and 100 miles north of Inverness. We have in the past caught many species including Cod, Ling, Pollock, Coalie, Mackerel and to our delight this year baskets of Haddock. We can tailor make your trips from 4 people minimum to 10 maximum 6 or 8hr day trips and 4hr night trips all year round weather dependent, starting night trips April finishing September for safety reasons. Should the weather be that unfavourable that prohibits us from getting out, Caithness provides us with many spots for shore and beach angling along with loch and river fishing. We welcome novice and experienced anglers, all equipment provided but suggest warm clothing even on the nicest of days. We can also provide accommodation for 6 people based on 2 people sharing a room and introduce you to a friendly pub where you can have a meal discuss the days fishing and plan the next day's trip. We would be delighted if you would look at the photos and read the reviews, if you enjoy what you see contact us by phone, email or Pm.
Today we remember the passing of our dear friend and crew mate Paul (Tucker) Bain, how better to do this than a morning at sea with a bunch of great guys and some excellent fishing. Paul you were definitely looking down on us! The Cod is on.
Apologies to everyone that follows us on this page but the truth is we have been so busy this year we haven't had the time to update things, here are some photos from the excellent fishing we have had this year.
Hard to believe it's been a year since we lost our good friend and crew mate Paul aka Tucker, you are greatly missed on BAD LADZ ll and always rembered when we are out on the open seas, r.i.p friend, Callum and James.
