Wildlife watching and sea fishing specialists, we deliver guided trips from our boat. Ideal activities for families, beginners and improvers Our charter boat ‘Lauren Jade’ is based at the Isle of Whithorn Wildlife, an ideal location to get close to the birds and mammals in natural surroundings. We cruise around the cliffs and hidden coves to see Shags, Razorbills, Guillemots, Ravens and Peregrines. We also can get close to Grey Seals as they sunbath on the rocks, sometimes Dolphins and Porpoises are spotted too.
The Solway is famous for sea angling, Tope, Rays and Smooth Hounds, Bull Huss and Pollock are targeted by enthusiasts, others enjoy mixed fishing for Mackerel, Cod, Gurnards or Wrasse and over 20 different species can be caught during the season.
Family’s like to combining wildlife watching & fishing and a two or three hour trip gives them time to see the sites and catch a few of fish.
We supply every thing you need to enjoy the day out at sea; life jackets, binoculars, guidebooks, quality fishing rods and reels and will be on hand to help you identify the wildlife and catch a big fish or two.
