On Sunday the 26th of June, the 'Medisave Misfits' stormed to a joint 5th place in Diverse Abilities Its a Knockout, a very worthy charity event based in Dorset. With cloudy conditions and rain definitely on the way, the Medisave Misfits were apprehensive about the challenge that lay ahead, but after a quick dance-off to get warmed up they were raring to go! The first three challenges caused a little confusion within the team, however we still managed to pull off three second place rankings, earning 10 points per game. Although we were covered in foam and soaking wet, we were still smiling and had our heads in the game! Determined to gain all of the points that were on offer, we stepped up our game and managed to secure three consecutive wins, despite some of us getting even wetter, bruised and thrown out of a rubber dingy, as funny as that was! Although we tried our best throughout the course and challenges, we were pipped to a top three finish out of 20 teams and finished in a respectable joint 5th place! A fun day out was had by all of the team and we are really grateful to those that donated money to us and this wonderful charity and also those that came down to support us on the day. Watch out It’s A Knockout, the Medisave Misfits will be back! :)
