Fully qualified and insured Independent Civil Celebrant specialising in bringing light to your story in life's biggest moments - from touching funeral services through to weddings, renewals, child and family ceremonies. My name is Roxanne Angelique Cawdron and I am an independent Civil Celebrant based in Essex.
I have been professionally trained and accredited in in two level 3 Diplomas (DipFC and DipCC)
I specialise in writing and delivering  unique and personal ceremonies to mark life's biggest moments - so everything from funeral services through to weddings, renewals and baby/child/family ceremonies - and I have conducted hundreds of beautiful and poignant ceremonies over the years.

I'm very openly passionate about what I do and pride myself on the relationship I build with my clients - after all, I can't write a reflective and appropriate ceremony for you if I'm not familiar with who you are!

My bespoke ceremonies are crafted individually for the people they are intended for - there is no set format, no templates, and no standard expectation, but rather I give ownership of these special occasions back to my clients where they have complete freedom to create  a moment in time that is wholly suitable and appropriate for them.

It's a beautiful process, and one I'm honoured to partake in every single day.

Done mine (and the mother and husband!) 🤘🏻 and my family will be able to concentrate on grieving only, no extra stress. (Well... except some of the tasks I’ve asked them to do 😜) Sounds awesome too - shame it’s the one party I’ll miss, but I can live my life in the certain knowledge that should I ever die, at any age, things are sorted and in place and my family can experience a more natural and healing process of death.

So, the last service has been officiated before Christmas, although it’s not quite time to shut my office door just yet as I continue to write up services and ceremonies for next week and the new year. But I take the time now to wish every single one of you - my past and present clients and families or followers of this page - THE most heartfelt tingling warm Christmas time. I know it’s going to be a real tough one for a lot of you, and I’ll have you all in my thoughts. Make some beautiful memories everyone! Love and light Xxxxx

Maybe water cremation may happen in our lifetime too here in the UK, then we could really help our planet a bit better. But this is a lovely idea.

And so it starts.... The big Memoria brand in the funeral industry is branching out into hospices. Initial thoughts were on the fence, but concern is growing. Offering funeral services as a way to raise funds? Mmmmm I’m not sure that’s in the family’s best interest. Whilst I wholeheartedly support hospices and help myself through various fundraising shows, I’m not sure this is a good idea at all! But could this be the catalyst to wake the industry up and make them realise that change and development around population needs is overdue?!
