Biker-friendly cafè In October 2014, after hearing the announcement that Loomies was to close, two biker friends, Will & Paul, decided to see if they could raid a few piggy banks to see if they could raise enough to buy a 5 year lease to continue that awesome biker-friendly cafe that they know and love. They started trading on 29th October 2014.
Prior to that it was operated by Leon and Jane (and family) who acquired the site for Loomies in August 2007 and opened the doors on the 1st of September 2007. It had been closed / derelict for almost 3 years before that.
Previous to this we know that Loomies was once a Little Chef restaurant butwe don't know from when and until when. Do you know anything about Loomies history? We would love to know more. Drop us a note on here or chat to Will and Paul when you are next in visiting.
