These two beautifully marked cobs are looking for forever homes where they can blossom. Shadow is dreaming of her best life whilst relaxing on a bank holiday Monday. She is a sweet, affectionate, shy lady looking for a comfy lap to retreat on for lazy days! She will suit a quieter lifestyle so she can build her confidence at her pace. She will repay you with plenty of purrs and dribbles 😊😍 she will need to be the only cat in the home due to being a flu carrier. Please contact the centre on 0300 123 0751 for more information 💗

🥰☺️Happy Homes Update☺️🥰 Casper and Noddy were at the centre a few months ago and we recently got a lovely update from their owner. When they were at the centre they were very timid but as you can see from the photos they have settled in amazingly well and become great companions 💙💙

We just can not believe that the gorgeous Vincent hasn't been adopted yet. Vincent is a cuddly, adorable blagdon roan pony who is approximately two and a half years old and should make between 12 to 13 hands. He walks in hand perfectly, loves to be groomed. He is also quiet the catch and when stabled. Vincent is up to date with his vaccinations, dentist and the farrier and on each of these occasions, he was perfectly behaved. We are looking for a experienced home for Vincent to bring out his full potential. For any further information on Vincent, or any other of the lovely ponies we have here at RSPCA Leybourne. *APPEAL* Buddy came in to our care along with another cat due to welfare concerns that they were living in poor conditions, surrounded by faeces and urine. He is a very nervous cat that has missed out on the important socialisation as a kitten, so will require a very patient and understanding home that can accommodate his needs and provide him with the care he requires without expecting lots of interaction to soon. Buddy has been with us for quite a few months now and for most of that time he has remained hidden and fearful of the cattery environment and refusing to interact with staff and volunteers. There were concerns that Buddy would start to deteriorate in the cattery, so a foster home was made available, to see if an environment change would help him cope better. To start Buddy remained hidden, only venturing out for his dinner and very cautious ‘hello’s’. However it didn’t take long for him to settle in and his true personality shine through. Buddy soon gained confidence and started to interact with purrs, chirrups and loving a game of ‘chase the snake’. He now spends his days chilling on the bed or having head rubs with his foster family. Buddy is looking for a quieter home environment with older children and no other cats. Ideally we would like to new owners to have some knowledge of cat body language but not essential as staff will give lots of advice on how to interact whilst making him feel safe We are looking for a very special home where his new family can continue to build his confidence and gain his trust. With a careful plan to slowly introduce positive interaction without overwhelming him, we are hoping Buddy will continue to make great progress Unfortunately Buddy is not available for general viewing as he is in a foster home, however all enquiries can be made to the centre on 0300 123 0751 or visiting between 11-4 every day except Wednesday

Visitors to the Centre may have noticed that we fewer animals than normal available for adoption. This is so we can carry out some much needed maintenance work. We should be fully operational again over the next few weeks but should we not have a suitable forever friend other RSPCA branches and Centres may be able to assist, You may view the animals available for adoption by using the "pet search" facility at www.rspca.org.
