Description
The Fox & Hounds is a family run pub welcoming well behaved children and pets. We serve morning coffee and afternoon teas as well as lunches and evening m West Burton is one of the most beautiful and peaceful villages in the whole of the Yorkshire Dales, with its traditional stone built cottages bordering the vast village green where children can safely play on the swings whilst the adults enjoy a relaxing drink at The Fox & Hounds Inn and take in the fantastic views.
The village has its own hidden waterfalls which are surely one of the most popular subjects for photographers coming to Wensleydale (see photo on the right) and in summer provide the most perfect swimming pool for locals and holidaymakers alike.
To the locals, The Fox & Hounds Inn is, essentially, their local pub at the centre of their community and where they come to relax after a hard day’s work. Visitors, too, appreciate our good selection of hand pulled ales and are pleased to note that The Fox & Hounds is included in:-

Why not come and try one of our new British Venison Burgers with smoked cheese, onion chutney and lettuce and served with chips and onion rings, all in a rustic wooden crate.

Special Breaks
A Huge Congratulations to Dave Moore, Andrew Hawkins, Dan Liddy, Mick Poulter and Chris Taplin on the completion of their Lumps & Bumps Challenge and for raising all the money they did. We Hope everyone had a great night on Saturday and we want to thank everyone who turned out the evenings event and hope you all had a great evening.
The Bands are setting up as we speak ahead of tonights event, and if the rain is putting any of you off, fear not, it is forecast to be nice and dry from 7pm and if the worst happens we have put up a huge gazebo right outside the pub to keep you all dry.
