This week I've enjoyed a magical week off in sunny Cornwall. It's been very relaxing but packed full of exciting stuff. On Monday, our son graduated in the magnificent Truro cathedral, after a 4 year masters engineering degree, and now, very reluctant to leave that beautiful county, he's hoping to find a job there, who can blame him. When he began his degree there, I realised that close by was a truly inspirational florist called Susanne from The Blue Carrot, whose wild floral style I had admired for a long while, and it became my mission to meet her, and attend one of her one to one classes. So, here's what I made with some gorgeous material from her Cornish cutting garden x

Back at beautiful Norwood park today for Ruth and Scot who were really hoping for an outdoor ceremony. There was a little sprinkling of rain back in Nottingham around the time they were getting married, but hopefully sunny Southwell didn't disappoint :)

Well, the peony season carries on, I'm not sure for how much longer, but they're still looking gorgeous. These were for Sasha and Artiom who married yesterday, with the sweetest little posy of peonies, roses and hydrangeas for Sasha x

I've taken lots of bookings recently for winter weddings. There are many myths about flower choices being really poor in the winter, when in fact, there is a wonderful range of seasonal blooms. A bit further afield for me today, in Lichfield, for Nat and Steve's festival styled wedding, in a super colourful yurt surrounded by lots of mini sleepover yurts for their guests! With Nat and all her maids in flower crowns, carrying boho, asymmetric bouquets, they must have been quite a spectacle. Wishing Nat and Steve an amazing day x

Back at my favourite little local hotel, Langar Hall, this afternoon where I was given a tour of their superb fruit, herb and vegetable garden, no wonder the food tastes so amazing in this place. Today's wedding flowers in the most gorgeous earthy tones for Katie and Chris. Happy Wedding Day! x
