facebook.comA big thank you to everyone who supported our cake sale on Friday. You raised £139.30 which will go towards developing the Early Years outside learning area.
Yesterday our Year 4 children took a trip to Kew Gardens. They all had a very enjoyable time visiting The Hive, the Palm House and walking round the gardens.
Year 4 have been harvesting carrots and beetroots to be prepared in the school kitchen and also shown in the Harvest Assembly.
On Wednesday our Year 5 children took a trip to Hazard Alley. Here they had a lesson and practical demonstration on various aspects of safety and potential hazards and how to deal with them.
This week our Year 6 children have been learning and practising safe cycling to pass the Bikeability test at the end of the week. Good luck to all the children taking part.
It's a sad farewell to our Year 6 children and we wish them all the best in their new schools. We hope that you all have a safe and enjoyable summer break and we look forward to seeing the children return on Monday 4th September.
Our Year 6 children gave a wonderful performance last night. They have spent many hours practising and we hope that you all enjoyed an emotional evening.

The weather wasn't great yesterday for our Sports Day but it didn't dampen the childrens spirit. We hope that those of you who were able to attend enjoyed the event.
Yesterday Year 6 had a visit from the fire brigade who came to demonstrate how to perform CPR. The children then got the chance to practice.
