Ventura Wildlife Park is an interactive small zoo home to a variety rare and endangered wild animals. The zoo is based in Great Amwell on the outskirts of Ware, Hertfordshire. Ventura Wildlife Park is a unique interactive small zoo owned and operated by Ventura Wildlife, an organisation dedicated to adventure, conservation and education.
Ventura Wildlife Park is conveniently located just 20 minutes north of London within the Van Hage Garden Centre Complex in Great Amwell near Ware, Hertfordshire. The zoo is home to a variety of wild animals including zebra, emu, wallaby, kangaroo, reindeer, lorikeets, lemurs, as well as Madagascar's largest carnivore, the fossa, and the UK's only Cuban Hutia.
Our aim is to allow adventurers of all ages and abilities to discover more about wildlife in an safe and interactive way. Adventurers can get closer to the animals through our variety daily activities which include interactive animal feeds, talks and animal encounters. We even offer a range of VIP animal experiences which are perfect for those looking to get behind the scenes.
Groups are always welcome and our indoor education and conference centre, The Explorers Lodge, is the perfect setting for educational visits.
