"the best bloke for the job is the one who loves doing it!" These are all clichés of course but you can apply them all to Thunder Road Cars, an enterprise established by Cheng Lim in 1984.
Cheng and his talented team can build a car with their bare hands - engineering, bodywork, painting, trimming and wiring. Over the course of more than 30 years the Thunder Road Cars team have built, part-built, finished off, repaired and modified a multitude of road and racing cars. That's a lot of experience and know-how!

The Fifties - UK v USA
Wonderful duel between our Cobra pilots yesterday. Cheng prevailed in both races in the end but not without some swapping of places and trading of fractions of a second in lap times. Phil was quicker in qualifying ... one TENTH quicker in Race 1 ... then one HUNDREDTH quicker in Race 2 ... until Cheng posted a storming lap of 2:11.62 to stamp his authority on the duel. Great racing! 👌
